My Philosophy

I created Golf Elevation because I truly believe that reaching the highest level is not only about the quality of your swing or the number of hours spent practicing.

The real difference lies in the people around you, the decisions you make, how your journey is structured, your strategy, your routines, and the right tools — everything that shapes a confident and independent competitor.

With passion and care, I share what years of experience, learning, and research have taught me — to help young golfers progress faster, go further, and approach their journey with greater confidence and clarity.

Because every dream deserves a plan.

Because the right guidance can change everything.

My Story

My Story

My name is Mathilda Cappeliez. I was born in 1998 and grew up in Évian-les-Bains, France.

I discovered golf at the age of seven and immediately fell in love with the game. Results came quickly: I progressed rapidly and performed well from an early age, naturally leading my family to become fully involved in my journey. Together, we did everything we could to give me the best possible chance of succeeding from a young age.

Through this commitment and years of consistent hard work, I steadily climbed the ranks, made my mark on the game, and built a successful amateur career at the highest level.

After several years competing among the world’s best amateur golfers, I continued both my academic and athletic journey in the United States as a member of the Wake Forest University women’s golf team.

After returning to France, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from IÉSEG School of Management, followed by a Master of Science in Corporate Finance from EDHEC Business School.

These experiences broadened my perspective on both sport and management, combining the values of performance, hard work, and excellence with entrepreneurship and personal development.

Today, I use this unique combination of athletic and academic experience to support the next generation of golfers. I co-founded MAY Management, an agency dedicated to supporting young golfers pursuing a university pathway in the United States through U.S. College Golf.

At the same time, I am developing Golf Elevation, a project created to help even more young golfers in their journey toward the highest level of the game.

My Golf Career

My Golf Career

My golf journey began at a very young age, shaped by rapid progression and a complete commitment to high performance.

I topped the French adult amateur rankings for four consecutive years, from the age of 14 to 18, and reached a career-high of No. 8 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR).

As a member of the French Girls’ and Women’s National Teams from 2012 to 2017, I had the honor of representing both France and Europe in some of the world’s most prestigious international competitions.

Some of my career highlights include:

  • Winner of the Dixie Women’s Amateur (2014)
  • Selected to represent Europe at the Junior Ryder Cup and Junior Solheim Cup (2014 and 2015)
  • Two-time U.S. Women’s Amateur semifinalist (2015 and 2016)
  • Made the cut and finished T59 at the U.S. Women’s Open at the age of 16 (2014)
  • Competed in The Amundi Evian Championship (2015)
  • Career-low round of 7-under par at the professional Lalla Meryem Cup on the Ladies European Tour

These experiences ultimately led me to pursue a professional golf career, competing on the Epson Tour and the Ladies European Tour (LET) until 2020.
