Our Approach
Golf Elevation: Supporting the Development of Young Golfers
Supporting the Player Beyond Technical Instruction
Golf Elevation supports young golfers and their families in understanding, organising and developing their sporting projects.
Our approach is based on the belief that a young golfer’s development depends on more than technical practice alone. It also involves setting goals, organising the competitive season, selecting tournaments, understanding performance data, exploring pathways to university golf in the United States, and helping families make informed decisions throughout the player’s development.
Drawing on my experience as an elite golfer, an NCAA Division I student-athlete in the United States and a professional golfer, I aim to help young players and their families better understand their journey, make informed decisions and build a structured, long-term sporting project.
A Holistic Approach to the Player’s Sporting Project
Golf Elevation provides resources and support in areas including:
-
Educational resources for parents and young golfers.
-
Tools to understand tournaments, performance statistics and progress tracking.
-
Guidance on organising a competitive season, setting objectives and planning a pathway towards high-level golf.
-
Information and support relating to sporting development and, where relevant, the university golf recruitment process in the United States.
-
Insights and feedback drawn from my own experience as a competitive golfer.
-
Support in coordinating the different aspects of a young golfer’s sporting project and development environment.
Our aim is to provide families with useful information, practical tools and a clearer understanding of how to support a young golfer’s development.
A Complementary Approach to Golf Instruction
Golf Elevation does not seek to replace the golf instructor responsible for a player’s technical development.
The services offered through Golf Elevation are not intended to provide technical golf lessons, correct a player’s swing, prescribe technical swing changes or replace the work carried out by appropriately qualified professionals.
Where a young golfer’s needs involve technical instruction, regulated sports coaching or specialist expertise, we encourage families to work with the appropriately qualified professionals.
Our approach is designed to complement the existing coaching environment while respecting the respective roles, expertise and responsibilities of everyone involved in the player’s development.
Built on Experience, Collaboration and Complementary Expertise
Every young golfer follows an individual path and develops within a unique environment. Parents, golf instructors, clubs and other professionals can all play complementary roles in that journey.
Golf Elevation aims to contribute to this environment by sharing insights from high-level competitive golf, providing practical tools and helping families structure their sporting projects.
Our ambition is to help families gain clarity, better understand the options available to them and build a coherent long-term development pathway, in coordination with the professionals already supporting the player.
